Omegan’s Chance To Look Back HSAs
Charley lives with Linda and Rick Sunday in Livermore, CO. He was originally purchased by Dick and Edna Grabow, who have raised Australian Kelpies for over 40 years, and are active herding trialists and both AHBA judges. They were judging an AHBA trial in our area, where we took this pup to be instinct tested. They heard that his original home had backed out, and asked if they could buy him. They said they wanted an AKC Border Collie to trial, and this seemed like the perfect pup for them, so he went home with them from the trial! With Dick, Charley earned two legs toward his AKC Herding Started A Course title.
In 2009, Charley went to live with Linda, another member of my local herding co-op, to continue his trialing career while now living the life of a family pet as well. Keep an eye out for Charley on the trial circuit, this boy is going to do great things! Charley earned two more legs on the A course, with Linda handling, in April 2010, earning him his Herding Started title. On Saturday they got 1st place in Started, with a 93, and also won an award in memory of Bob Vest – “Highest Scoring Novice Handler – A Course”. I was very glad to be there to watch this beautiful run. This is just the start for a great team…we couldn’t be happier with how well these two are doing together!
